President's Club Corsages and Boutonnieres

Here are all of the corsages and boutonnieres that I made for President's Club!
The President’s Club consists of donors from around the world who donate $1,000 or more to the university. Members then have the opportunity to come to campus to see the progress being made. Each year, the President's Club holds an annual banquet to highlight new developments around campus. This year, the banquet was held on October 24th.

I made 15 corsages and 12 boutonnieres for the President's Club in the time of about 2 hours.

The materials we used included: assorted spray roses, statice, ming fern, and asparagus fern.

Here are a few of my favorites!

Although I'm not entirely pleased with the photography on this corsage, it was one of my favorites. I love using different shades of whites! And the rose and statice really complimented each other well I thought.

I loved these two colors, and I used them quite frequently throughout my corsages and bouts. The bouts, as you can see are extremely simple. Just one single spray rose and a little bit of statice goes a long way!

This design was a lot bigger, and as I did more and more, I realized how much I liked using more than just two colors. This was one of my favorites.

Here is a picture of all that I made. The corsages are on the left and the boutonnieres are on the right.

Happy Halloween!

I happened to be in the Flower Center while Kristie was designing an adorable Halloween arrangement, so I decided to make one of my own!

Using a pumpkin, I created this small Halloween centerpiece!

I used eucalyptus leaves, mums, daisy mums, and feather celosia to add all different textures, and used "Blackberry" color tool to give it a spooky feel!

Roommate Birthday :)

My best friend just celebrated her 20th birthday, and what a better way to celebrate a birthday by giving her flowers!?

I created this lovely arrangement using a bird of paradise leaf wrapping the vase inside, bupleurum & larkspur as a filler, three yellow roses, and a spider mum! She loved it, and I was pleased with the results! Happy birthday, Lara!

Devotional

I was so stoked to have the opportunity to create the devotional arrangement for my personal hero, President of BYU-Idaho, Kim B. Clark!

These were my beautiful flowers for devotional! I was so excited but also really nervous to design a large scale arrangement since I had never done one before, but I think they turned out pretty good- I wanted to ensure that they were great!
I really liked the flowers that happened to be ordered in- I was glad I got to use a fall color scheme!

Spring Floral & Bridal Show

Each Winter Semester, the Horticulture Department puts on a Floral & Bridal Show. The theme this year was "Gathering With a Melody in Your Heart." We are all assigned different groups, and my group's theme was "Classical."

Here's a little compilation of pictures from our room. :)
